Nose
Initially a fairly strong blast of vanilla rye spices, slight minty caramel candies, more vanilla. It softened a bit but some of the alcohol shows through more and the caramel note becomes a bit muted and flat.
Palate
Not very mouth coating, borderline thin but the mid palate has a slight spike of wood spice, then some graham cracker bits with caramel and vanilla.
Finish
A medium to long finish, slight cocoa powder notes as it gradually fades into slightly bitter medium chocolate on the back of the tongue that just lingers.
