The Sakurao Single Malt Japanese Whisky is distilled and aged by Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, Japan, near the Seto Inland Sea. It is aged for a minimum of three years in a combination of four cask types: first-fill bourbon, cream sherry, new American oak, and Mizunara casks. The unique coastal location with significant temperature swings and sea spray influences the maturation process. This is a non-age statement release, known for its balanced and elegant character with a hint of smokiness.
