Nose
A unique and intriguing aroma with hints of paint, glue, Demerara sugar, cane sugar, licorice, herbal bonbon, and a distinct metallic rust note. Light dried fruit, raisins, butter biscuits, and a touch of caramel. Very well-balanced. With some time in the glass, the wood becomes drier, but also younger. In return, significantly more sweet cereal notes and lemon instant tea emerge. A hint of lemon balm is also present.
Palate
Intense and syrupy sweetness with oil, corroded metal, rye, and spices. It has a very dirty and concentrated character. A soft, somewhat lifeless start. A touch of spice and a metallic undertone. Stale tea with a hint of hibiscus and fresh wood.
Finish
Short to medium length with a spicy and metallic aftertaste. Rather short. It's gone pretty quickly. What remains is a woody spice with a hint of rust.
