Sweet with sherry and port notes, sugar pie, fresh pear, apple, dried figs, raisins, oranges, rancio, cinnamon, baking spices, and a slight sourness from beer casks. Hops, stewed pears, blackberries, nutmeg, vanilla, and delicate beer aromas are also present.
Palate
Pear, caramel sweetness, creamy brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, tobacco, ginger, and an earthy snuff. It has a lighter texture with some granularity, and a sourness can build at the end.
Finish
Medium length with creamy brown sugar sweetness, baked sugar pie, baking spices, dark chocolate, and nuttiness. Spicy and woody notes become dry and intense, warming, tingling, and long-lasting with floral notes.
