Nose
Rich and bourbon-like, with creamy vanilla at the forefront. Mild spiciness and a hint of citrus emerge over time. Tropical notes of mangoes and vanilla cream join sweet, zesty citrus and gentle leathery oak. Sweet vanilla, heather honey, ripe pear, floral notes, gentle maritime influence.
Palate
Full-bodied, featuring a lovely blend of vanilla, caramel, tropical fruits, and a touch of rowan berries. Creamy and soft, with layers of poached orchard fruit and dustings of spice, pineapple upside-down cake, with wintery spices in tow. Spiced apple pie, vanilla fudge, soft oak spice and baked pineapple. Caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit, citrus zest, subtle spice.
Finish
Medium-long, with a surprising burst of nuttiness. Milk chocolate and a hint of coconut round out the experience. Spiced malt biscuits, baked fruit, vanilla fudge. Complex, fruity, and gently spiced. Long, velvety, with sweet malt, soft oak, and a touch of sea salt. Long and developing with notes of dry oak and a gentle, weaving smoke.
