Description

A Belgian independent bottler, The Roots, founded by Joren Nuyts, released this Secret Highland 1978. This single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in September 1978 and matured for over 42 years in a refill sherry butt before being bottled in October 2023. It is a golden liquid with aromas of tropical fruits, beeswax, leather, and tobacco leaves, described as a liquid time capsule. The Roots' portfolio includes rum, cognac, armagnac, and whisky.
