Nose
Dense, dried heather, warm spices and a hint of beeswax form the prelude. Behind this are oils, dark tea, a trace of cedar wood and fine mineral notes. The smokiness is subtle – rather a dry veil of smoke that harmoniously connects everything.
Palate
Powerful, concentrated and astonishingly oily. Heather honey, herbs, nutmeg, some clove and black tea dominate the picture. In addition, there is a structure that feels almost “chewy”: rich, dense and wonderfully balanced. The smokiness remains in the background and provides depth without ever becoming dominant.
Finish
Long-lasting, warm and complex. Spicy oils, tea aromas, dry heather and a fine wisp of smoke remain. With every moment, new depth unfolds – a calm, noble island finish.
