Description

A Japanese single malt whisky from Shizuoka Distillery, established in 2016. This 2017 Premium Bottle Selection was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2022 at 63.3% ABV. Shizuoka is known for its unique stills, including one from the legendary Karuizawa distillery, and its use of cedar washbacks. This heavily peated expression was matured in Ex-Bourbon casks and is non-chill filtered. It was part of a subscription program, making it a limited release.
