Description

The Sild Jöl en Reek Single Malt is a German whisky from the island of Sylt. Its name, 'Jöl en Reek,' means 'Fire and Smoke' in the North Frisian dialect Sölring, reflecting its peated character. Made with Sylt barley and spring water, and peated with Sylt peat, it is matured on the island, often in former bunker facilities. This single malt is known for its harmonious blend of malty notes, subtle fruit, sea salt, and a complex interplay of roasted grain, honey, and fine smokiness.
