Nose
Soft, sweet, and fruity with aromas of baked green apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, cocoa powder, malty biscuits, dried orange, and floral hints. Also nutty notes of walnut, apple peel, almond, honey, vanilla, pear drops, toffee apples, honeycomb, linseed oil, scented tea, ripe autumn fruits, red berry sharpness, and golden syrup.
Palate
Soft, sugary sweet, and gentle, with muscovado sugar, milk chocolate, baked apple, vanilla custard, butterscotch sauce, soft fudge, creamy toffee, and apricot jam. Dried spices like cinnamon bark, nutmeg, and clove, along with nutty notes of brazil nut and toasted walnut. Buttery fruit, malt, toasted grain, candied citrus, peach, apple, vanilla, delicate spicy trace (white pepper), and oak dryness. Honey, caramelised pecans, and lavender.
Finish
Soft, sweet, and a little short, with sugary and fruity characteristics fading to leave malty biscuits and warming spice. Drying cocoa powder, freshly baked ginger cake, pears, digestive biscuits, and delicately spiced notes of aniseed. Medium length, with wood, fruit, and subtle sweetness, and a lengthy finish with spice, tannin, and sweet cream.
