Description

Spey Fumare Cask Strength Batch 3 is an annual, limited edition peated single malt whisky from Speyside Distillery. It is the distillery's first-ever peated whisky, made from peated barley and matured entirely in ex-Bourbon barrels. Bottled at 57.5% ABV, it is non-chill-filtered and has no added coloring. This release consists of 1500 individually numbered bottles.

Aromas of toffee apples, smoked herbs, malt cereal, honeyed nuts and flapjacks. Subtle smokiness, with some burnt toast, acacia honey, garden herbs, and a delicate character.
Palate
Vanilla custard, stewed apples, caramelised brown sugar, toasty oak and rich peat smoke. Mouth-filling sweetness, browning apples, rich smoke, and toffee.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with minimal medicinal notes, increased sweetness, and spicy notes.
