This is a sensational 44-year-old Speyburn single malt, distilled on September 13th, 1977, and bottled in November 2021 for Gordon & MacPhail's luxurious Private Collection series. Drawn from a single refill sherry butt (cask number 6045101), this release yielded only 414 bottles at a natural cask strength of 59.2% ABV. The Private Collection is a prestige range from Gordon & MacPhail, showcasing greatly-aged single malts from celebrated, lesser-known, or closed distilleries, personally selected by members of the Urquhart family.
