Nose
First impression is powerful and bombastic, with typical Oloroso sherry notes of tangerine, raisin, maraschino cherry, strawberry, ripe banana, coconut, and passionfruit. Also bitter dark chocolate, Nutella, salted caramel, fudge, marzipan, pastry, strawberry yoghurt, orange marmalade, creamy malt, menthol, vanilla, oak tannin, lavender, cinnamon, walnut, pistacchio, hazelnut, soy sauce, truffle butter, toast bread, limoncello, and young ruby port.
Palate
Initially a lot of alcohol heat. Pistacchio, walnut, hazelnut, brine, creamy butter, sour milk, plastic, and oak tannin. Less fruity and more on the chocolate and nutty spectrum.
Finish
Medium to long. Dry with almond, bitter dark chocolate, and cacao dusting.
