Nose
Deeply sherried and intense, with dark, ripe fruits like prunes, figs, dates, and sultanas, layered with hints of toasted nuts, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, old leather, molasses, and a touch of furniture polish.
Palate
Full-bodied and oily, with a burst of rich sweetness from the sherry, featuring syrupy fruits, black tea, and figs. Followed by spice notes of pepper, cloves, and a subtle dryness from the oak, along with hints of tobacco, leather, and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, warming, and impressive, with lingering sherried fruit and spice notes, giving way to a gentle oaky dryness and a final touch of bitter chocolate and roasted nuts.
