Description

Kingsbury (also known as the Kingsbury Wine & Spirits Company) was founded in Aberdeen in 1989 by the president of Japan Import System Co. Ltd, Katsuhiko Tanaka. The origins of Japan Import System remain in the family-run liquor store in Tsukiji from 1956 when Katsuhiko's grandmother ran the business. All Kingsbury whiskies are hand-selected by Katsuhiko along with Gordon Wright from Springbank. This is an independent bottling of 25 year old Springbank single malt, distilled in 1991 and matured in a Cognac cask. Only 161 bottles were produced from cask number 314.
