Nose
Briny, leather, currants, reminding me of being by the sea. Definitely oily and waxy with deep malty notes.
Palate
A delicacy, sweet barley, biscuits, freshly buttered toast, a bit of almond moving into orange and cacao nibs without ever forgetting the presence of this fine brine and faint smoke.
Finish
Great length with the lightly salted dried fruit and sweet, violet incense and dusty peat lingering. Oily and full bodied, crisp and oaky iodine.
