Description

A rare Springbank 7-year-old single malt, distilled on 24th May 2016 and bottled on 28th November 2023. This 'Duty Paid Cage Bottling' was matured in a single refill burgundy cask (cask #312) in warehouse 5 and approved by distillery manager Gavin McLachlan. It was exclusively available from the Springbank distillery shop.

Super bright, raspberry yogurt bar, nail polish remover, green apple, plum, green grapes, campfire smoke.
Palate
Super hot for the proof, very citric, green apple disappeared, pencil shavings, a bit of bitterness. Not a lot of sweetness or grape.
Finish
Very long. Green apple comes back, along with some almost floral notes. Little bit of dark chocolate.
