Description

A revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828. It is today owned by J&A Mitchell & Co who produce three single malt styles there. These are its flagship two-and-half times distilled Springbank, a heavily-peated malt known as Longrow, and the triple-distilled Hazelburn. Springbank is one of the only distilleries to malt, distil, bottle, and mature whisky on the same site.

Thick and fruity with coconut, apricot jam, honey, vanilla, leather, apple, orange zest, peat, caramel, granidine syrup, litchi, baked banana, marzipan, toffee, marmalade, malt, spice, smoky, slightly floral, and sherry with a coconut-like note.
Finish
Vanilla pudding, apricot, honey, coconut, caramel, almond, oak, long, rewarding, developing with fruit, spice, orange peel, pith, and woodsmoke.
