Description

A revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828. It is today owned by J&A Mitchell & Co who produce three single malt styles there. These are its flagship two-and-half times distilled Springbank, a heavily-peated malt known as Longrow, and the triple-distilled Hazelburn. This particular release is part of Claxton's Unicorn Series, which features rare, low-volume casks that are bottled at competitive prices. This 29-year-old Springbank was distilled in 1993 and matured in a hogshead.
