Description

Founded in 2015, Claxton's is an independent bottler of unique whiskies and spirits. They also have a core whisky range that includes Warehouse No.1, Warehouse No.8, Exploration Series and Grain Barn. With original stone barns and grain stores dating back as far as the 1800s, an extensive restoration project, in partnership with the Dalswinton Estate has been undertaken at Claxton's Dalswinton Bon. This particular release is a Springbank 2000 24 Year Old, bottled by Claxton's as part of their Warehouse No.8 series.

Right from the start, the nose offers beautiful old notes of a Dunnage warehouse, followed by toffee, dry sherry, and a hint of mint.

The palate is very aromatic and delicately dry, with more wonderful notes of sherry and more toffee flavors and a touch of anise.
