Nose
Soft coastal salt with wispy distant smoke, dried grass and heather, herbal with wild mint and camphor, paper, soft citrusy fruits with lemon and pineapple. Candied pineapple and flambe orange sit atop a stack of pancakes with putty, paraffin and tin cans, limestone and earthy dunnage, dusty fabrics, singed herbs, seawater, oily quality of lamp oils and machine polish.
Palate
Medium-bodied and lively, sparkling tropical acidity and citrus, maritime brine and mellow metallic bite with subtle wispy smoke, dried grass, buttery pastries, old papers and paperbacks, waxy at times with more orange and anise. Pineapple rings, apple slices and lychee juice, Brasso, graphite oil, hot house vine 'greenness', saline solution, petroleum jelly with a fruity tang, crumbled chalk.
Finish
Long and lingering with wispy tobacco smoke, beachy salt, paper, and dried vegetation. Dusty pineapple with pangs of metal sheeting.
