Description
Berry Bros & Rudd are the oldest wine and spirit merchant in Britain, operating from the same premises in London's St James Street since their founding in 1698. This St Magdalene 1982 was specially selected for their award-winning Berry's Own Selection. Distilled in 1982, just a year before the distillery closed its doors in 1983, it was bottled in 2008 from single cask #2199. St Magdalene, also known as Linlithgow, was a Lowland distillery that principally produced for blends, making single cask bottlings like this a rare treat from a lost distillery.
