Starward Solera is a rich, complex single malt whisky from Melbourne, Australia, aged exclusively in Apera barrels (Australian sherry) using a traditional Spanish solera process. This method ensures a consistent flavor profile, with every bottle containing a touch of the distillery's original distillate. The whisky offers notes of caramel chews, crème brûlée, and a lingering dry spice. It is crafted from 100% Australian malted barley, fermented for 69 to 72 hours, and matured in Melbourne's variable climate, which accelerates the interaction between spirit and wood. Solera has received multiple awards, including Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
