Description

Stauning Dirty Bastard is the fourth release in the innovative Research Series from Stauning Whisky Distillery on the west coast of Denmark. This single rye whisky undergoes a triple maturation process, starting with three to four years in American virgin oak barrels, followed by aging in mezcal and tequila casks, and finishing in stout casks from Danish breweries To Øl and Fanø Bryghus. Bottled at 53.4% ABV, it offers a complex flavor profile with notes of grain, cinnamon, cocoa, tobacco, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts, chili, and dark beer. It is unfiltered and not chill-filtered, and is a limited edition of 6,530 bottles.
