Nose
Oily, with notes of engine oil, toffee shortbread, coconut butter, and honey. Hints of rum, moscovado sugar, and fudge are present, alongside sweet grains, fresh hay, and apricot. Zesty orange and lemon peels, vanilla, and cream butter also emerge.
Palate
Rich and sweet, with notes of Portuguese tarts, strawberries, raspberry yoghurt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. A chewy, thick, and viscous mouthfeel reveals flavors of dried apples, dried apricots, buttered popcorn, butterscotch, maple syrup, and candied pineapple.
Finish
A short to medium finish with lingering notes of golden syrup, apricots, brown sugar, and dark chocolate. Hints of paprika, peppermint, dried fruits, dark oak, and mellow sweet oak are also present.
