Description

This Strathearn Single Malt Whisky is a Small Batch - Hand Crafted release, Batch 001. It is a 3-year-old whisky, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2019. Matured in European oak and ex-sherry casks, it is non-chill filtered. The back label describes it as an 'unashamedly young, yet surprisingly mature single malt' with 'interesting and distinctive flavour' where 'young malt spirit shines' through 'finest European oak and ex-sherry casks'. The 'soft and mellow oak makes up the backbone', allowing 'red fruits and subtle sweetness of the ex-sherry cask to shine through'.
