Strathisla 1989 Cask Strength Edition 15 Year Old Batch No. SI 15 is a single Speyside malt whisky from Chivas Brothers. Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2004 at a cask strength of 59.3% ABV, this 15-year-old expression is non-chill filtered and was part of a special cask strength range originally available to distillery visitors. Strathisla is the oldest continuously operating distillery in Scotland, founded in 1786. This 15-year-old whisky offers full, rich flavours of apricots with a gentle sweet nuttiness, enhanced by a hay-like oakiness that lingers.
