This Strathisla 2008 13 Year Old is part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series. Gordon & MacPhail, founded in 1895, has a long history of bottling single malt whiskies and is known for its extensive range. Strathisla, established in 1786, is the oldest continuously operating distillery in Speyside and is a key malt for Chivas Regal blends. This particular release was distilled in 2008, aged for 13 years, and bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 57.9% ABV. It was matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead cask and was an exclusive release for the UK market.
