Nose
Sweet notes of honey, vanilla, and sugar-coated oranges, with hints of cherries, candied apple, caramel, and tropical blooms. Underlying notes of butter, vanilla pods, hemp, and sherry oak are present, along with delicate floral, perfumed, grassy, and earthy tones, sometimes with a touch of smokiness, banana, and nuttiness.
Palate
A balanced and somewhat flat profile, less sweet than the nose, featuring honey, toffee, and floral vanilla. It has a thin and light mouthfeel, with spicy and vibrant notes of persimmon fruit, cinnamon, clove, allspice, and sherry sweetness. Oak tannins, dark sugar, fruity qualities, and a peppery spice are also noted, alongside mild herbal and grassy elements, and a nutty character with hazelnut, peanut, and almond.
Finish
Generally light and refreshing, with a quick fade and a slight pepper spice. It can also be long and spiced with nutmeg, eggnog, and sherry, sometimes presenting as dark chocolate cherry. Other notes include a hint of bitterness, vanilla, oak, and a dark roasted oolong tea-like aftertaste, occasionally with a return of plum-like fruitiness.
