- Fudge, dried berries and chocolate, with an immediate rich sherry influence. Coffee, leather, incense, prunes, rum-soaked raisins, figs, plums, and oranges. Hints of shoe polish, varnish, barley water, hazelnuts, croissants, and sweet and salty pastries. Dusty spicing with nutmeg, ginger, and pepper.
- Palate
- Soft arrival with toffee, fudge, and chocolate. Very sherried and woody. Burnt sugars, light liquorice, spent coffee grounds, and maple syrup. Orange, white pepper, and bitter chocolate. Sugary and oaky with good balance.
- Finish
- Medium length with mild oak bitterness and fresh espresso. Lasting fruits and a bit of oak bitterness.
