Description

This exclusive Suntory Blended Whisky was released in 2019 as a limited edition bottling to commemorate the grand reopening of the iconic The Okura Tokyo hotel. This stunning new release represents a collaboration between Japan's premier whisky producer, Suntory, and one of its most prestigious hospitality landmarks. The Okura Tokyo, originally opened in 1962, was demolished in 2015 and a modern replacement was built and opened in 2019.

The sweetness has a useful counterpoint in the winter spice, so it doesn’t read as one-note. Light fruit, malt and spice keep the aromas balanced, while the long, spicy finish gives the soft palate some shape.
