Suntory World Whisky Ao is a unique 'World Blended Whisky' that combines spirits from the five most renowned whisky-producing regions: Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. The name 'Ao' (Japanese for blue) refers to the oceans that connect these regions. It is crafted by Suntory's fifth-generation Chief Blender, Shinji Fukuyo, using whiskies from Suntory-owned distilleries including Yamazaki, Hakushu, Ardmore, Glen Garioch, Cooley, Alberta, and Jim Beam.
