Suntory World Whisky Ao Smoky Pleasure is a blend of whiskies from Suntory distilleries in the five major whisky regions: Scotland, Ireland, Canada, the USA, and Japan. This expression adds a smoky character to the original Ao blend, with whiskies specially selected by Suntory Chief Blender Shinji Fuwa. The name 'Ao' means 'blue' in Japanese, symbolizing the oceans connecting the continents, and the five-sided bottle represents the five whisky regions in the blend. It was released in June 2022.
