Nose
Powerful peat-smoke with a hint of sea-water salt, fresh oysters, and citrus sweetness. Notes of fresh sea air, black pepper, sweet pear and apple peels, and malt.
Palate
Bold and complex, with rich dried-fruit sweetness, clouds of smoke, strong barley-malt flavours, and a warming intensity. Waves of sweet malt, warm spice, honey, brine, and an explosion of pepper at the back of the mouth.
Finish
Huge, long, warming, and peppery with an appetizing sweetness and lingering maritime saltiness. Bonfire embers toast malt and crystallise a sugary underlay.
