Full-bodied aroma with dark fruit, notes of raisins, figs, and dates. Hints of pepper, dark chocolate, vanilla, medicinal peat, orange peel, and English leather, evolving into fruity aromas, hay, tobacco, and sherry. Also, sweet and savory notes of pickles, seaweed, smoke, oak, sea salt, and honey.
Palate
Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour, with notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and spices. A solid, warm, and aromatic structure with delicate tartness, sweet and soft with traces of licorice. Soft notes of peat, tobacco, menthol, paraffin wax, smoke, pepper, salt, beeswax, baked bananas, burnt toast, coffee beans, and liquorice.
Finish
Long and lingering with a slight smokiness, rich and smooth, with lingering pepper and notes of eucalyptus.
