An absolutely spellbinding nose. Old-school sherry, thick, earthy, and musty. Decomposed wood in wet forest. Juicy and jammy. Crushed nuts. Quite fresh, with hints of mint and eucalyptus. Nose cannot get better than this.
Palate
Mellow, old-school sherried Talisker. Balanced mouthfeel, dense, no off-flavors. Delicious mocha latte. Yup. Sludgy milk chocolate with crushed peanuts. Morel mushrooms. Earthy. Barely-there peat.
Finish
Moderate length. Balanced. Lingering milk chocolate, some cola sweetness.
