Nose
Light smoke, complex, with notes of putty, macadamia, moorland, and wet seaweed. It also presents woody, smoky, peppery, grassy, and fern-like aromas, with hints of vanilla, beer, and apple skin.
Palate
Soft mouthfeel, delivering gentle oak, heather, and sweet pear-like fruits, followed by a powerful dark smokiness. It can also be warming, semisweet, fruity, briny, intensely oaky, and sweet.
Finish
Long and sweet with iodine notes. It can also be quick and sharp, with a ripple of tropical fruit, dunnage, eucalyptus, lemons, and a hint of smoke.
