Tamdhu 18 Year Old Cask Strength is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. It was launched in 2022 to mark Tamdhu's 125th anniversary. This expression is bottled at cask strength, 56.8% ABV, and is non-chill filtered with natural color. It offers a rich and complex profile with notes of dried fruits, chocolate, and spices.

Nose
Dry nutty sherry, cherry, milk chocolate, rum raisin, citrus, baked oats and plum. Rich dark fruits with ripe cherry and plum. Zesty citrus notes cut through an indulgent base of nutty milk chocolate and honey-baked oats.
Palate
Rich, complex and mouthcoating with vanilla, brown sugar, red apple and dried fruits. Crisp red apple emerges alongside dried fruits, with some sweet spice coming in the form of cinnamon, vanilla, and brown sugar. Strong dark fruits, both sweet and acidic: raisin, blackcurrant, blood orange and blackberry. Dark chocolate adds a semi-sweet side, and oak spice adds a drying dimension.
Finish
Long and warming, dried apricot and dates, soft spice and stewed apple. Lingering spices, subtle tannins and more coffee and nuts. Grape skins and cocoa powder, perfumed oak, a little bit of a savory note on the back end along with more oaky spice.
