Description

Tamdhu distillery was founded in 1896 by a consortium of blenders and historically produced spirit primarily for blends such as Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse. This particular bottling is from the 'Edrington-era', prior to Ian Macleod Distillers acquiring the distillery in 2011 and relaunching the brand in 2013. Tamdhu is renowned for its exclusive use of Oloroso sherry casks for maturation, contributing to its distinctive character.
