Nose
Initially earthy, slightly mineral notes, then vanilla crescents and wine cream, framed by a fragrant fruit basket of light fruits – juicy grapes, ripe apricots, fine quince and pear. A hint of nutmeg, a delicate herbal scent, a splash of citrus and something reminiscent of grape must and honey wine.
Palate
Wonderfully soft and almost flattering. A warm spice carries notes of quince jam and dried fruits – sultanas, peaches, apples. Then it becomes a bit more autumnal: hay, leaves, a hint of brandy. Later, nutty oat biscuits, sweet honey cake and milk chocolate with almonds.
Finish
Long-lasting and pleasantly warming. Marron cream remains on the tongue, along with a hint of fruit, some dry cocoa powder and a fine, elegant oak spice – gentle but firm.
