Description

This is a 15-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 by independent bottler Thompson Bros. It was created from a vatting of refill hogsheads and given a further maturation in an Oloroso sherry hogshead for two years. Only 552 bottles were produced.

Nice dried fruits, raisins, dried apples, mandarin orange, kumquat, malty, cereal, figs, plum pudding, autumn leaves, shiitake mushrooms, golden sultanas.
Palate
Thick mouthfeel, rich and creamy, vanilla, pudding, tapioca pudding, sweet, full-bodied with raisins, dates, olive oil, dijon mustard, sherry flor.
Finish
Medium long, malty, peppery, black pepper, oak, tar, grass, oak & dry ginger, wholemeal bread and pumpkin seed.
