Description

An iconic Italian importer and independent bottler, Moon Import, founded in Genoa in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino, is revered for its pioneering approach to the labelling and presentation of independent bottlings. This Tobermory 1972 was bottled by Moon Import as part of their 'De Viris Illustribus' series. Distilled in 1972, the year the Tobermory distillery (then Ledaig) was revived after a four-decade closure, and bottled in 1995, making it a 23-year-old single malt. Only 600 bottles of this expression were produced.
