Description

A Scottish malt whisky distillery on the Isle of Mull, originally established as Ledaig back in 1798. Having experienced a turbulent early history, Burn Stewart Distillers has brought success and stability to it in the modern era. It currently produces a standard non-peated spirit and a peated malt.

Sweet briny smokiness with distinct island character, hints of antiseptic, creosote, mint chocolate, lemon-lime, salt, iodine, and soft peat.
Palate
Tantalisingly sweet, medicinal flavours with spicy pepper, dried fruit, rich peaty smoke, velvety vanilla, malty creaminess, ashy and woody notes, ginger, and lemon-lime soda.
Finish
Lingering ashy smoke, drying oak, spicy white pepper, liquorice, cloves, and an exquisite lingering saltiness.
