Description

Tomatin Decades is a limited edition single malt whisky released in 2011 to celebrate Douglas Campbell's 50 years of service at the distillery. It is a unique blend of whiskies distilled across five decades (1960s to 2000s), incorporating casks from 1967, 1976, 1984, 1990, and 2005. The blend includes whiskies matured in refill sherry hogsheads, Oloroso sherry butts, and first-fill bourbon barrels, with a small peated component from 2005. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, this expression aims to combine maturity and youthful charm, offering a great depth of flavor. There were 9000 bottles released worldwide.
