Description

Founded in 2014 and based in Edinburgh, Skene whisky have a multiple range of releases. They have the Skene Reserve range which only contains single cask single malts aged 20 years or more, the Cask Classic range which are for the younger single casks and the Black Tartan range which contains premium blended highland malts. Palate
Dry white from the Loire, Savennières, lemon and orange drops, mentholy oak, lemon tarte, meringue, green plums, greengages, not-too-ripe mirabelles, jelly babies, wax, light runny honey, simnel, cake batter, butter croissants, lemon posset, mango.
Finish
Medium, tart, greenness, greengages, tiny echoes of older wood.
