The Tomintoul 21 Year Old is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, known as 'the gentle dram'. It is crafted from a careful selection of the finest mature whisky from American oak ex-bourbon barrels, each aged for at least 21 years. This award-winning expression boasts a floral, fruity, and spicy character, offering a rich and complex flavor profile with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a subtle oak influence. It is chill-filtered and bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose
Rich oak and earthy vanilla pod, with a waft of citrus blossom. Ripe and pronounced with aromas of soft nougat, ruby grapefruit, boiled sweets and dried cranberry lifted by a herbal freshness. Aniseed, furniture polish and caramel-glazed apples, with a touch of licorice root and marzipan. Whisper of vanilla cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and apfelstrudel.
Palate
Creamy malt, butterscotch and a tiny pinch of white pepper warmth. A wash of baked apple, honeycomb, orange peels, Danish pastries and Turkish delight bound in white pepper and oak spices. Cherry syrup, toffee and brown sugar, as well as apple peel. Gentle tannins.
Finish
Fragrant tobacco, more vanilla and some tropical fruit zestiness. Fresh and tingly with notes of apple strudel, cedar spice and cinnamon lingering on the tongue. Lingering spices and slightly drying.
