Description

Safe to say Tomintoul have come up trumps with this one, a Speyside whisky from the top shelf, aged for 40 years and created from the nectar procured from four different casks. Presented at cask strength and without chill-filtration, the delicate but disarmingly complex expression represents the crème de la crème.

Nose
Delicate and reassuringly matured. Mixed fruits dance with the gentle barley sweet malt that is buttery and creamy. Hints of pineapple caress invitingly.
Palate
Subtle yet exquisitely complex, as summer fruits and buttery toffee intermingle with refined notes of coffee, licorice and lemon sorbet.
Finish
Gentle oak spice swirls with sweet licorice.
