This Tomintoul Merlot Cask Finish is a small batch bottling of Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It was initially aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels before being married and finished in hand-selected Merlot wine barrels from the Bordeaux region of France. This non-age statement expression is bottled at 40% ABV and is part of Tomintoul's Global Cask Finish Whisky Collection, offering a rich, complex, and full-flavored experience. It is also noted as being non-chill filtered and having no added coloring.
