Rich and inviting with aromas of sultana, butterscotch, candied pecans, brown sugar, honey, and baking spices like cinnamon and all-spice. Hints of red fruits, vanilla, and toasted wood.
Palate
Sweet and luscious with layers of dried figs, Christmas cake, caramel, toffee, manuka honey, plump sultanas, raisins, candied orange peel, and notes of malty cereals, nuts (hazelnut, walnut), and baking spices (cinnamon, all-spice, clove, nutmeg, mace). Touches of cedar spice.
Finish
Warm, nutty, and long with notes of chocolate-covered raisins, dried fruits, red liquorice, and hints of liquorice that fade into a sweet woody linger. Toasted oak, black pepper, and walnuts.
