Nose
Immediately smoky and inviting with toasted marshmallows, vanilla and a touch of caramel from the first-fill bourbon wood. Then roasted almonds, bonfire smoke and a savoury layer moving toward BBQ and smoked ham. A fresh coastal note in the background keeps it lively.
Palate
Full and firm with sweet smoke, toasted malt and sticky marshmallow. Then more savoury depth: BBQ smoke, smoked ham and lightly charred wood, nicely supported by vanilla, honey and a touch of citrus. The first-fill bourbon casks add creaminess and sweetness, while the peat smoke brings plenty of grip and character.
Finish
Medium to long with lingering smoke, roasted almonds and soft vanilla. Toward the end, a savoury BBQ note remains, with gentle peppery warmth and subtle sweet smoke.
